Jerry attended Iowa State University, receiving his B.S. in 1973 majoring in Agricultural Engineering, Structures, and Environment Division. After graduation he enrolled in the Agricultural Engineering Masters program at Iowa State University with a Waste Management emphasis and a Structural Engineering minor. Jerry completed his Masters program while working for Norval H. Curry, Consulting Engineer as a full time plan production manager. 

 

After receiving his professional license in 1977 and Masters Degree in 1978, Jerry cofounded and became Vice president and Professional Engineer with Curry-Wille & Associates. In 1980, Jerry became President and Professional Engineer with Curry-Wille & Associates and is currently the Principle of the company. Currently Jerry is licensed in 27 states and has also worked in 8 foreign countries for both private companies and world organizations.
